Summer and Fall Activities
The outdoor village of Saint-Donat offers a variety of summer activities for the whole family, whether in the forest, the mountains or on the water. Come discover the trails and the beautiful lakes of Saint-Donat, such as the Ouareau, Archambault and Pimbina lakes, for lovers of hiking and water sports.

La Symphonie des Couleurs
From September 7 to October 14, the region of Saint-Donat celebrates Fall colours. The lineup includes several initiation workshops to discover nature. A vintage car exhibition and a spike ball tournament are also schedule. The ski lifts of Garceau and La Réserve ski centres are open on Saturdays and Sundays from September 28th. With family or friends, discover Saint-Donat region’s bike routes. For those who are not afraid to bike several kilometers, we suggest excursions to the neighbouring villages of Lanaudière and the Laurentians. Among the classics, the tour of Lac Archambault and Lac Ouareau as well as the Nordet highway. View the cycling map (PDF)

Vestiges of World War 2 : Liberator Harry
On 20 October 1943, the Liberator Harry bomber crashed in the region of Saint-Donat, creating the worst air tragedy on Canadian soil of the second world war. You will see the remains of this aircraft at the summit of Montagne Noire, with explanatory panels describing the circumstances of the event.
Pedestrian Path to Discover Local History
All villages have a story, that of Saint-Donat is part of the great colonization movements of the 19th century. Discover old houses, paintings reproduced from old photographs composing a historical fresco, all decorated with educational panels. A 5.6 km path on foot or by bike. Visit the tourist information centre for the “Saint-Donat vous raconte…” flyer, which will give you more information about this walk.

Parc national du Mont-Tremblant

Several choices are offered to fishermen. The lakes of Mont-Tremblant National Park let you fish as a family, in a natural and enchanting setting! For a day trip or a stay in a chalet, fishermen can tease both trout and pike. The boat is included in cost of the activity. Please book in advance. Saint-Donat Lakes – including Lac Archambault and Lac Ouareau – provide an opportunity to fish for trout, muskie, smallmouth bass, lake trout and the combative ouananiche.
